Christina says, "I began to learn Taijiquan in China 1996 before I came to New Zealand in 2001. Taichiquan has always been my passion and it was a fantastic experience to practice with a group of people in the park when I was in China. I joined Sing Ong Taichi Newmarket branch in 2008 and began to assist Tim Fitzpatrick to teach in 2011. I started Sing Ong Parnell branch in April 2014. Learning Taichi not only has strengthened my mind focus, achieved deep relaxation, improved my body balance and flexibility, but also has changed my way of thinking and taught me to apply the yin and yang principle in everyday life by maintaining my centre physically and mentally and staying calm. I have so enjoyed the practice that I do not have a single day without it. I am currently studying Chinese Acupuncture and can explore the inner beauty of Taichiquan in the light of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In our busy lifestyle, Sing Ong Taichi, with the gentle and well designed relaxing exercises and profound meaningful forms, can be practiced as a moving meditation, mindfulness training, as well as part of your fitness program. It is suitable for people of all ages, who are looking for body & mind relaxation, body balance, coordination and general good health. Our Parnell Branch has friendly and dedicated students. We look forward to welcoming when you join your group. "
This branch is affiliated through Tim Fitzpatrick.
