Helen Haigh

Helen HaighHelen Haigh originally started Tai Chi in 2000 in Christchurch, New Zealand. After studying at university and travelling for few years Helen settled in Sydney and is now training Tai Chi under Master Yek. Helen works as a Bush Regenerator in the Northern Sydney area.

Over the years I have trained in Tai Chi I have come to appreciate the finer detail in this Martial Art. The accuracy of the movements learned through Tai Chi principles has contributed to improvements in my other martial art training.

Tai chi also helps in everyday life; as well as being aware of how I use my body (such as lifting items or turning) I find I am able to concentrate for longer periods. Attending class at the end of the day is a great way to wind down, relax and focus on the body inside and out.
